Monday, May 13, 2019. Its that time of the year - I grabbed Wendy today and we went to look at New Hampshire Waterfalls! (specifically, a series of waterfalls just west of Gorham, NH in an area called Appalachia:
We checked, and there were no places open for lunch in Jackson, so we got to North Conway and had a nice lunch at the bar at the Sea Dog Brewing Company (I always have had good luck with "Brewing Companies" and "Breweries" - the atmosphere is always laid-back, and the cheeseburgers and sandwiches are always good.) We got to the Trailhead at 2 PM:

But I prefer looking up from the parking area, and seeing our 2.9 miles hike along the mountain-side:

It was fun following Wendy through the woods:
and seeing her at the top of Gordon Fall at 2:20:
looking downstream:
We continued up the path alongside Snyder Brook:
To Lower Salroc Fall:
and Upper Salroc Fall:
About a mile from our start was our final stop up Snyder Brook was Tama Fall:
We then headed 1/2 mile down Valley Way, then west 2/3 mile through the woods, on Sylvan Way, to get to Cold Brook Fall:
looking downstream:
What a fun day!
A nice 3/4 mile flat hike back to the car, then headed home - Thank You God for these wonderful adventures!!
Music today from my mp3 cds - the only one I remember was coming home, playing loud:
Jackson Browne - Lives in the Balance, 1986
